Quick Portraits

Yesterday my cousin came to visit me, so I used her as a subject.

Here’s the setup:

  • 4×6 ft Lastolite reflector(white side), hung on the wall as a backdrop
  • smaller round reflector(silver side), clamped on stand in front of subject
  • speedlight on camera, bounced off ceiling
  • CS3: cleaned up skin, whitened the backdrop, Curves adjustment

I was quite pleased with what I was able to achieve in this fun little session.

Yesterday got me into the picture-making mood. I hope I’ll be able to come up with some cool stuff. I’m not much of a writer, so I guess I’ll just try to write with pictures.
